Refine your chicken family homepage
Task:
Add a hero section to your homepage. Display your chicken hero card image, name, back story
STEPS TO COMPLETE:
1. Get hero card by completing week 1 quest
2. Add the image to your site along with the backstory I provided you
3. Get organized we will be adding to this website all semester.
Condition:
Email me the link to your working page (or code) by Friday, Sept 19. If unfinished by class time, you may be called to share your screen and build it live.
Purpose:
Learn to use ai as a coding partner, create your game identity, and set up the 'front door' of your chicken family's online presence. No personal information needed - this is all about your game character!




Add a tool to the family homepage
Task:
BUILD A BASIC TO-DO LIST WHERE USERS CAN ADD, CHECK OFF, AND DELETE TASKS. ADD IT TO YOUR SITE

Build an Email Bot
Task:
BUILD AN AUTO-REPLY BOT THAT RESPONDS WITH A FRIENDLY GREETING but in the voice and character of one of your Chicken heroes. Bonus points if your bot can replay with text and audio.
Condition:
EMAIL ME BY FRIDAY, OCT 31. I will reply to test your email bot functionality.
Purpose:
PRACTICE PROMPT ENGINEERING AND CODING LOGIC
TO SIMULATE REAL-WORLD COMMUNICATION TOOLS



Add a Chatbot
Task:
CREATE A TEXT-BASED CHATBOT in the voice of one of your heroes AND EMBED IT INTO YOUR SITE.
Condition:
EMAIL ME THE LINK BY FRIDAY, NOV 7.
Purpose:
GAIN EXPERIENCE IN NATURAL LANGUAGE INTERACTION AND SEE HOW DIFFERENT AI MODELS APPROACH DIALOGUE.



Make a Book based on a character card
Task:
Create a bedtime storybook, then add a feature that plays sounds, records audio, or uses text-to-speech.
Condition:
The storybook should be 1,000 to 8,000 words in length. It must include cover art and illustrations.

Purpose:
Explore multimedia storytelling, coding integration, and the use of large language models (LLMs) to research and enhance creative writing.

Task:
Create an epic movie trailer for your storybook.
Conditions:
The trailer must be a video or an animated sequence with sound and background music.
It should be consistent with your storybook’s content and artistic theme.
Once completed, post the trailer on your website and email me the link by Friday, December 5th.
Purpose:
Explore multimedia and text-/image-to-video generation using large language models (LLMs).
